Philippines Landscape Architect
This week, a licensed Philippine landscape architect and associate planner with the county Department of Planning, was honored as one of the "Forty Under Forty--Rising Stars" by the Business Council of Westchester.
The forty young stars, aged 21-40, were selected for their professional and/or entrepreneurial accomplishments and leadership qualities.
With the department since 1996, coordinates the many agencies and local groups involved with the development of many neighborhood Philippine landscape architect parks and playgrounds throughout the county, including the county's first interactive water spray playgrounds in Sleepy Hollow and Port Chester helped design the Library Green Park in New Rochelle.
Her enthusiasm, hard work and attention to detail have resulted in the implementation of more than $20 million of public facilities projects.
County Executive said, "I congratulate for this well-deserved recognition. She not only has the skills to pull together the funding and cooperation of federal, state, county and local governments to make these Philippine landscape architect projects work, but really goes the extra mile to connect with and listen to the local people, who are the real reason we commit to these projects."
